Increasing healthcare access for communities in Africa by building the capacity of local healthcare enterprises

We are a global non-profit with an innovative private sector approach to health systems strengthening in Africa.

We build the capacity of local healthcare enterprises to deliver quality, affordable and accessible health products and services to patients and their communities.

We do this by facilitating remote technical assistance projects delivered by teams of highly-skilled corporate volunteers.

Healthcare needs for families are largely unmet in public health systems due to system wide constraints and underfunding against a backdrop of rising healthcare demands. Compounding the problem, poor and rural populations often have no access to public healthcare facilities. Healthcare enterprises across the private sector (not-for-profit healthcare service providers as well as essential local healthcare actors e.g. local drug manufacturers, distributors, and insurance providers) who cater to the most under-resourced communities, are essential to fill the gaps in healthcare provision, but are often capacity constrained by skills and resources.
